Pre-Cycle Aquascape??

Aquascape is built. While we assemble the stand, sump and tank should we “pr-cycle” the aquascape? If so, how?

Some people put their dry rock into a container (e.g. brute can) of saltwater for a few weeks with a circulation pump, and add an ammonia source to start building the nitrifying bacteria.
