Hi everyone,

I do not actually own a tank at the moment but I often think about the subject. The more I learn the less I know. I am dreaming of a reef aquarium but am still struggling with how to choose the right combination of corals, fish, and inverts. I would love to find resources that share the knowledge of what works and what does not. But in the mean time I will stalk the threads learning from the trials of others.

Chris

Welcome Chris! Ask any questions you have. We're friendly here, and no question is dumb. There is a lot of info to digest at first, but the best thing is to take it slow, as only bad things happen quickly in this hobby.

Welcome and we all started somewhere. It is a lot of trail and error when it comes to this hobby but your on the right track. You have already made up your mind that you want a reef tank so research is key. If you have any questions just ask and someone will answer them. You are addicted but don't know it yet.:croc:

Run Run now. This hobby will drain your wallet, drive you nuts, **** you off, suck up your time, make your neighbors think your growing pot, your friends will think your nuts, oh yeah and BRING YOU TONS OF JOY AND SATISFACTION. LOL
In all seriousness welcome and enjoy. There is lots to learn but it's not all that bad. Before you know it the things that seemed sooooooo complicated wont be bad at all. You really never stop learning and thats good because it should never get boring. Remember one thing. Have fun with it. When you run in to difficulties and you will remember this is to be fun. Sometimes I have to remind myself of this. It truly is rewarding to sit back and enjoy your piece of the reef

Hello and welcome to r2r, as others have said take it slow and ask any questions that you may have. It is a friendly group here willing to help however they can.

Welcome to R2R! Thanks for joining and please make sure and post often!

Well hello! And welcome to R2R!! You should check out some of the tanks in members tanks, club cube, and nano threads and see if there is anything that sticks out to ya! David and I just recently took on a predominately nem tank with a few clowns, tangs, and wrasse! We love it!

Thank you one and all. It's either a habit or a hobby, photography, scuba, skiing, road cycling...the house will burst!
