Precision Marine Kalkreactor KR620 Impeller problems

Purchased Precision Marine Kalkreactor KR620 but I go thru impellers like crazy on my cobalt mj1200. Have it hooked up to my apex and turns on every 45min for 15min to stir the kalkwasser. The Kalkwasser eats my impeller shafts like mad. Have anyone else have this problem and is there a fix. You would think for spending 3 bills they would make something that would last a little longer. Any advice or mod would be greatful

Should have gone with the Avast Marine KALK stirrers, they blow Precision Marine's models away. When you buy a new one, I would HIGHLY recommend the K1 or the K2 Avast Kalk Stir.
