As long as they have enough to eat, they are usually not a problem. They will take advantage of ill, dying, or dead inverts and or fish. That's what scavengers do, right

Any update on any of these methods? My vermetids are growing in numbers. I have emeralds and bumblebees. Not seeing a difference.

I noticed since i had a very large infestation of vermit snails in my tank a year ago i gave up on the battle and allowed nature to take its course. I introduced a bummble bee snail and a puffer approximately 6 months ago, to date i have only found the odd one now. Not sure if its the snail being a machine or the puffer has acquired a taste but its working. So maybe?

You need bumble bee snails - they are small size and deal with vermitid snails.. Once you have quite a few of them - you will have not a single vermitid snail..

They also breed in the tank..

Nothing destroys inverts like a bird wrasse. I had a full cuc for months until I got that wrasse in a tank of preds. Didn’t take it long either. Cool fish.
