predator stocking

my tank to be is a 950g i am thinking stocking will be

1 emperor snapper
1 panther grouper
1 golden trevally
1 tessalata eel
1 snoflake eel
3 blueline snapper
1 painted lobster
1 epuelette shark

need opinions but i think this is overstocked

agree - need to plan for adult max sizes - it will be dramatic going where you're going with tank and would love to visit/see photos when you go forward

on the plus side you've planned a lobster to help CUC as the live feeding will create quite a bit of waste. next time I'm at a large public aquarium I will think of you. IMO, I already have a full time job and maintaining your tank with above population seems like it would be another full time job on top, so good luck to you!!

Golden trevalley are palegic swimmers no go in a fish tank

Also. Ton of those fish would kill each other in the wild

And lobsters are very common prey for them

A lot of them would get along in tanks. Big problem is that any one of them would make 900 gallons look really small really fast. If I had to pick a few to keep, I’d keep the shark, eels, and grouper first.

Ok cool will probably cut out golden trevally and maybe bluestripe snapper
