Predator Tank

Hello,

My wife and I tossed around the idea of a predator tank a year or two down the road. Any tips on this? Is it just a standard tank but a fish that eats live food? Do we have to QT live food?

The first thing I would ask you is what type of fish do you want to keep in your predator tank? Will it be a FOWLER?

I'm afraid I'm not familiar with that term other than seeing it a couple times here. I was thinking an eel or lionfish.

Choice 1 - grow your own.
Choice 2 - multiple QT tanks.
Choice 3 - play on the expressway, it's safer than any other choices that are left.
The public aquarium in my town doesn't feed live to anything - including the sharks. All food has been frozen.

Wow that's interesting, I guess in that case I would just feed frozen.

I grew mollies in my puffer tank. Unfortunately my puffer decided it liked the OmegaOne pellets I was feeding the mollies so I ended up with a molly tank that had a puffer in it. You can't outguess pets.

get them eating frozen prawn and a occasional squid, you can load the prawns up with pellets for nutrition
