Hi folks!
Everything else being equal, just for appearances, what is your preferred style of light? Strip resting on or just above the glass or frame, bracker above water, or hanging box style? Or something else?

Prefer my lights to hang from a bracket. In fact, last night I ordered a new light with a bracket for a frag tank because its current fixture sits on a glass top. Every time I want to do anything in the tank, I have to lift the light off and sit it on the floor. Then it's dark and I can't see anything. Finally got frustrated with it.

I have two tanks, both rimless. The first has a strip mounted on brackets sitting either side of the tank. Good light but I don’t like the bracket. The second, newer, tank has 3 lights mounted off the back on brackets. Much, much nicer. Love the clean look.

Older tank, sorry very old shot, don‘t take many showing the lights.

Prefer a bracket behind the tank but not attached. I use glass tops so clamps are out of the question.
