Pregnant or just full?

So I have noticed that my larger Clown has gotten a little round in the tummy. I have been doing my research and based on her behavior (digging in the sand and making little coves) and my littler clowns behavior (twitching in submission) I wonder if she is about to lay eggs? Thing is my tank is only about 7 to 8 months old. Is it possible that is what's going on? Or maybe I am just feeding her too much? Haha Hard to tell in the photos but I can say that within the past week she has gotten significantly bigger

I’ve never noticed bellies larger before spawning .

but if that is the case. .
It typically happens after lights out
They will take turns swimming around one spot they have cleared and picked at to prepare .

as they round and round each taking turns , laying eggs and fertilizing .
7-8 days later they are ready .

if everything is favourable they will repeat every 14 days .

full moon has something to do with it as well

Perhaps she’s waiting for a dinner and movie .
a romantic proposal .

you never know , when the mood strikes. I have read it is most often on vertical rocks .
they will prepare and pick at the location for awhile prior to the main event .
