Hey guys. I collect shrimp from the waters nearby and will release any shrimp I notice is carrying eggs. But today I find this;

Please excuse the algae :P
I'm not sure if I accidentally brought them home already pregnant or if this has happened since keeping them. They've been with me for a couple of weeks now.
I'm not planning on raising the young as I don't have the time or spare tanks at the moment. I just thought it was cool and worth sharing.

Is this a ghost shrimp(freshwater)? If so I think the babies can survive on their own without special care

Nah they're palaemon serenus or red handed shrimp. They're a marine species :)
Duke, they should make some tasty snacks for my puffers!
