It seems like I always spend so much time during my water change process and trying to get copper right in the replacement water. Would there be any cons of premaking say a 30 gallon container full of water predosed w/ copper in it already? Then I could just use water from there during my water change.

If you premix or add it after it should be the same amount of copper to add to the solution. If it takes 5ml for 30 gal it should only take 5ml before or after you add it to your tank. If you do premix is will give you a chance to get all the water conditions the same.
