So you no longer need to take your refractometer to a bright room or outside to see the scale. Just push down on the LED tab and lights up your scale to easy take a reading, even in a completely dark room. We also include an additional standard ring and lens cover. So if you ever decide you want to change from the LED to a standard, you just easily remove the ring and cover and swap out.
