"Premium Poly Foam" from Hobby Lobby - Aquarium safe?

Saw this stuff at Hobby Lobby for a reasonable price and was wondering if it's aquarium safe. It says 'non-allergenic' which I assume is the same as hypoallergenic...

So I posted in a DIY Facebook group and a guy responded (with photo proof) that he's been using the foam material in his sponge filters for a while with no ill side effects. Guess it's worth a try...

As long as it doesn't say "flame retardant" it's safe. The above bag says "flammable" so no retardant was used in making it.
