The other night, I mixed up about 15 gallons of RedSea CoralPro salt and RO/DI in a shiny new "Brute" barrel. Now, after draining water out of my tank for a water change, and placing my newly completed sump in the stand, I went to the barrel, opened it up ... and found a fine white residue on _everything_ inside the barrel. Powerhead and all. Do you guys think this water is safe to use, or should I toss it down the toilet, and crank up the RO/DI for new water?

(Previously, I've mixed SW in 5-gallon buckets, and haven't seen a residue like this...)
