Preparing fish food by self

Hi with the ready made food getting very expensive each passing day. I would like to explore teh idea of making own fish food.
Here are my questions.
1) Best mix of food we can buy nay formula any one following ?
2) The foods we buy says they are parasite free. If we buy and prepare foods will our fish gets parasites how to avoid that?

Homemade fish food... Share your RECIPES!

Are all these recipes made mostly for better fish nutrition and to feed fresher ingredients then store bought pellet or flake food? I tend to feed flakes and pellets still most of the week with frozen LRS and frozen mysis or brine a few times a week. I assume the homemade or some frozen foods...
