I just picked up 2 dosing pumps for alk and calcium to start dosing. I have BRS calcium and plan on making Randy’s stronger alk for the ph boost. The instructions say it works best in a high flow area of the sump. My sump runs about 4-5x turnover rate. What and where is considered high flow? I can only see 2 areas that might be high flow: overflow area or straight into the return pump grill.
im in the process of setting up my new 120 and sump and plan to T off the return to add an adjustable flow leg in the fuge to get more flow in that area to keep chaeto moving (currently run a small pump in current system, but want 1less cord).
Any input would be appreciated.
thanks
