Prepping your tank for the 4th

Anyone taking precautions to safeguard their tanks from smoke and fish from the loud booms?

This 4th is gonna be crazy with everyone doing their own fireworks!

Ha. No. I’m more worried about the dog than the fish!

I toss a bit of vodka in the tank so they can also celebrate. Other than that, nothing.

Dogs - it depends. I've taken our GSD to gun ranges as part of socialization because I want her to know what it sounds like and how to react. Fireworks do not bother her. However, have have had other dogs and it did. Our dogs are crate trained so we just put on some light music, lights off, and place them in the crate. That is when we are not with them and at other family members houses.

Fish - nothing. Just another day in paradise.
