Hello friends!

First, I apologize for the language and all the mistakes I may have when expressing myself, I do not speak English very well.

I am a reefer of Cantabria (Spain) that after two years in the hobby with my first aquarium (a nano of 90 liters without sump) I have made the leap to an aquarium like the one of the elders, haha.

I was encouraged to register in the forum after the R2R Instagram wrote me to post one of my photos in the R2R forum (you can follow me on Instagram @thudufusi_reef), so here I am. I leave a short description of the reef and some photos of the assembly, (still unfinished). If I see that raise interest I will open another post in which I will talk more about the system and the inhabitants.

I started the montage in November of 2017, after a trip to the Maldivian islands where I got several ideas for the ecosystem that I wanted to mount in my aquarium, (thudufusi is the name of the island where I was). It is still unfinished, but it has been running at full capacity for a couple of months (the rock has been healing since November).

The urn is 65cm x 70cm x 60cm (270L) + sump 90cm x 55cm x 40cm (120L to 23cm water level) total system about 380 liters.

As for the fish I have opted for a majority of small size and one or two large at most, so that you see a lot of life and movement without it being a problem of space or pollution.
The reef is going to be a single sps, mostly acroporas, saving some montipora and seriatopora that come from my old aquarium.

I hope you like the project that I have in hand, here I leave a picture of how it is currently, and as I said, if it raises interest I think a post to follow the assembly more closely.

Thank you very much for welcoming me in this family and a hug for all.
See you in the reef!

¡muchas gracias amigo! Todavía faltan muchas cosas para el sumidero, una urna de llenado automático, una urna para cambios de agua, luz dentro de los muebles, etc. pequeños detalles que marcan la diferencia.

Welcome home, you will love it here!

Beautiful tank and wow I can tell a lot of thought went in to setting it up! Thanks for sharing! :)

Nice setup, Ricardo!

I like your asymmetric stand design allowing you the room for a larger sump, and even a 'workplace' next to the main display....or do I dare say....a space for a future frag tank?!?!?
Thank you all for your interest!! I did not think I'd like it that much, there's a lot of level out there ...

what if!! You guessed it Dystinction, in that space of the table goes a small urn of quarantine and frags. good view!! [emoji6] [emoji6]
