After seeing the pictures of the garden eels in Kigs tank thread, I wanted to learn more information about them. I came across this video of a tank from a store in CT called Greenwich Aquaria that just blew me away. It starts out with still pictures but then you see the full tank. Anyway, I just had to share it with everyone because I thought it was quite impressive.

Yeah, someone call that shop and ask! I want some!
The resolution was too bad, buit i thought maybe a chromis of some sort.
Nice freakin tank!!!!

Anyone know what the Multiple schooling stripped fish in this video are? are they cardinals?
It appears there are two types of cardinals in there, the larger ones being Apagon leptacanthus and the smaller guys with a little red spot are Apogon parvalus.

Hey, that's one of my favorite youtube videos! Isn't the rockwork, and montipora corals, SPS corals, and other corals, awesome? The caves, the fish, the whole tank, lol! :)

I love that video... their tank is what inspired me to look into garden eels in the first place. Great find and thanks for sharing!

It makes me want to someday set my 75 gallon back up, with halide lights! :) Hmmmmm! Wonder if hubby would notice? :)

Are Garden Eels reef safe? I was under the impression that eels need to be avoided in reef tanks.

Kigs, do you have any pointers on sites to learn more about these guys?

Thanks,
-Chris

totally reef safe but they dont live to long. Greenwich Aquaria is about 10min from my house and Ive bought a lot of live stock from the owner. The tank is amazing and inspired me how to set my tank up. That tank is 48" front to back, when looking at it its like three d becuase of the widht. Thats why I bought a 480g 60x48x31 tank for my next build.
