Agreed, for folks who like the scott's for color I recommend the exquisite as it offers a similar color pattern in a much better behaved fish and is cheaper to boot.

Completely unnecessary. Exquisite is a fairy wrasse(Cirrhilabrus) and they do not use or need a sand bed. The most commonly kept genera of wrasses that require a sand bed are Halichoeres (melanurus wrasse, yellow wrasse), Macropharyngodon(leopard wrasses) and Anampses(tamarin wrasses).

Nope, like all fairy wrasses they tend to sleep hidden in the rockwork.

I have a Solar fairy wrasse and they grow FAST and absolutely keep their colours. I would consider this fish semi aggressive as it has become a little aggressive towards my leopard wrasse and my dispar anthias. It killed my shy dispar but my brave one handles himself and so does my leopard wrasse. It is dominated by my lime wrasse and totally ignores angels and cardinals. It’s aggression is only short chases and fin flaring but not constant and not an issue. I’m also getting a tusk but purposely getting it in my second last group of fish with tangs last.

I’ve had two Tuskfish in the past, both had issues with my female maroon clown one was the aggressor (found on the floor one day) and the next one on the receiving end (wander why?!?). No other issues with any other fish including a number of wrasses.

I had a Red Head Salon Fairy Wrasse and the folks claiming that they are peaceful need to have their heads examined. Mine went after everything in my tank after about a week and every one I have seen at the LFS or in other people's tanks has displayed at least some level of aggression towards one or more of their tankmates. Had to give mine the boot, even went after my Green Mandarinfish of all things (even my jerk of a Flame Angel left the Mandy alone).

So I've had the fish for about 2 weeks now. He's in QT with a blenny. It took him about 3 days to come out (I think he scratched his head darting into a rock), but he's doing good now. Still skittish but is eating like a champ and swims around when I am not looking.

His colors are bright, but he is more of a flat color. Is that normal? My other fish are a bit more shiny.
