Pretty Pink Spider Thingy??

It would be so cool if I discovered a new species lol. It definitely has a similar body shape to the majidae crabs, but I can’t find the color pattern in any of the pictures I see online. The shape looks closer to the majidae than the gall crab. I don’t know if I mentioned this, but a while back, I collected some stuff from the ocean and put it in the tank. That’s most likely where he came from.
Where did you collect stuff from? A location might help narrow it down

Uh, I found another crab. Completely different, but do you guys know what it is? I need to catch it somehow to get it away from my corals. I don’t trust any crabs.

Hard to tell from the picture, but looks like a type of xanthid crab

Ughh, definitely need to trap it somehow. Half of my Kenya tree recently disappeared and I can’t tell if something ate it or it just dropped its own branches to reproduce.

On your first pink/red crab, it's hard to tell without a closer picture, but my first thought is schizophrys aspera, the red spider crab.

That’s pretty close, but he’s a light pink, not red.

I'm still confident that is in the family Majidae. (for your pink crab) there are so many species in that family.
Are there pictures of every species somewhere online? I can do some research later to see if I can find it.

Agreed. The shape of the carapace is a dead giveaway. Over 200 species though, so unless OP consults a marine biologist that specializes in crabs they may never find out unfortunately.
