All those are true. Thanks all. Thinking about a file fish. I see 5 aptasia so far. They are 3 to 5 mm in diameter. Questions:
1. I hear file fish are hit or miss. Will it eat other stuff? Mysis, pellets? I don't want to starve it.
2. Is a file fish ok with rock flower anemones?
Thanks
It is. Keep removal simple . . . . .Confirmation?

I see 5You may have more than one already.
What does this mean? Are they invasive pests?looks like Exaiptasia diaphana, commonly misidentified as aiptasia.
Didn't you recently get some TB live rock? Look up the common hitchhikers and I bet you'll find some nems that are not aiptasia...Confirmation?

Treating when there are only a few is my opinion. It becomes nearly impossible if the population explodes.I am gonna watch these things for a few days. Decide a course of action later. Curious about housing a file fish with rock flower anemones...
Yes, they are still invasive pests. Most of the ‘Aiptasia’ in the hobby are actually Exaiptasia. What does this mean? Are they invasive pests?
Yes, but i have added other things, so not necessarily from TBS. Who knows. I am not all that worried about it. Gonna go with the flow.Didn't you recently get some TB live rock? Look up the common hitchhikers and I bet you'll find some nems that are not aiptasia...
Why watch? Just kill them. You can eradicate them easily before they spread.I am gonna watch these things for a few days. Decide a course of action later. Curious about housing a file fish with rock flower anemones...
