Preventing Jumpers

I have a canopy on my tank but the back of the canopy is open. I was wondering if anyone has a recomendation for preventing fish/eels from jumping out of the back of the canopy.

You can get plastic mesh and attach it over the opening at the back of the canopy. This allows proper ventilation but will not allow fish and eels to jump over the back.
