I have found a guy willing to part with a few small coral frags. He has some candy cane coral, some hammer coral, and a neon green mushroom. He's asking $25 for the mushroom and the Hammer together. Is that a good price?

It all depends what kind of hammer it is but just in general 3 corals for $25 you can't beat that.

Well he's asking $25 for the hammer and the mushroom. Waiting to hear back about price of all three.

If you're willing to pay it it's worth it. To me it may not be. It it may be. I paid 65 for a nice orange wall hammer, but wouldn't pay more than 15 for a branching. And I got a 6x3 inch colony of gold rush acans for $85, most people are willing to pay $10 a mouth for them... Which makes this coral worth a few grand. I'd never have paid more for it though.

Prob not a terrible Price. Def worth looking into local clubs n such. I know there's a lotta reefers from Atlanta on r2r.

Agree with pretty much all that has been said. Hammers $7-10 per head, Candy cane $5 a head, and basic shrooms $2 a piece. If these are larger than 10 head colonies then it should be less.

He's trying to sell his entire cube and I am not interested in another cube. So I asked if he would part with any corals and he told me what he had and said $25 for the two. I read that people give frags away for free all the time of basic corals. None near me though.
