I just got a Reefer 350 to take the place of an E-260 that I never set up. It was never set up since I wanted a little longer tank to fill the space where it ended up going. The local store where I purchased the new tank from is willing to take the old one on consignment, but I have no idea what I could expect to get out of it and any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

The 260 was a little over a year old when I purchased it second hand and I unfortunately managed to crack the bottom around the bulkheads during transit. Thinking it was really what I wanted, I went ahead and purchased a replacement tank directly from Red Sea that’s still in the box. Despite the 260 being a foot shorter in length, the display volume is only 4 gal less than the 350 and 4 gallons more overall with the lower sump. The entire package will include the following.

System Details:
-E-260 Tank still in the box
-Two Hydra 26 lights with Red Sea arms
-New sump and plumbing never installed
-Black stand
-All original plumbing and pumps

Should have proof read it a little better. The 260 display volume is 56 gallons (-17 of the 350) and 81 total system volume with the lower sump.

So the tank you are selling is BNIB? What did you do with the broken one?
Still have the cracked one with all the pumps, piping, skimmer, media rack and lighting arms installed. The Hydra 26s were removed since I was going to use them on the 350, but I’m going to go with the 32s instead.

The replacement tank is new in the box that was shipped from Red Sea at the end of June. The box was opened at the time of delivery just to make sure it was intact.

Ah, then I’d put 1.75 on it, someone offers 1.5 take it. If you want to sell faster 1-1.25. Would be interesting to hear others suggestions.

The “how to price it” forum might get you more answers.

I’m new to R2R so I’ll need to wait a bit before I’m able to post on the marketplace forum. Maybe I’ll try for a local buyer through R2R a little later if it’s still available.
