I just got a Reefer 350 to take the place of an E-260 that I never set up. It was never set up since I wanted a little longer tank to fill the space where it ended up going. The local store where I purchased the new tank from is willing to take the old one on consignment, but I have no idea what I could expect to get out of it and any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
The 260 was a little over a year old when I purchased it second hand and I unfortunately managed to crack the bottom around the bulkheads during transit. Thinking it was really what I wanted, I went ahead and purchased a replacement tank directly from Red Sea that’s still in the box. Despite the 260 being a foot shorter in length, the display volume is only 4 gal less than the 350 and 4 gallons more overall with the lower sump. The entire package will include the following.
System Details:
-E-260 Tank still in the box
-Two Hydra 26 lights with Red Sea arms
-New sump and plumbing never installed
-Black stand
-All original plumbing and pumps
