Hello, yesterday I used prime on my qt after using bottle bacteria. Today I got some fish from liveaquaria and they have ich. How long should I wait before starting copper treatment another 24 hours? I'm going to use copper powder.

by the way today the ammonia badges are yellow, I used half bottle of biospira and I plan to add a little bit more everyday.

My guess would be about 48 hours. you can also do a water change and that will help with the ammonia as well.
I usually take a small sponge and put it into a plastic cup and pour some biospira on it and let it sit for about 12-24 hours and then place it into the power filter. This will help the bacteria establish better into the filter and be more effective.

I soak the foam pad from my HOB overnight and add a mesh bag with BioMax to the filter, that have both either been soaked in BioSpira, Seachem Stability . . . or that have been soaking for 30 days or so in my DT sump. And I add a foam bubble filter with the foam treated the same as the HOB foam, ceramic media. Never have ammonia problems when doing these steps in my QT.

another question. I have 2 clowns and 2 angels. Angels have ich and clowns brook. Can I dose metroplex and copper powder at the same time?

do you mix bio Spira with tank water to completely cover sponge? I would think it would take a lot of bio Spira to cover both sponges on its own.

I pour the BioSpira into a bowl. Soak both the HOB sponge and the bubble filter sponge for 24 hours min. When done, pour the remaining liquid BioSpira into the tank.
