Hi all I’m really new to saltwater tanks have been keeping cichlids and flowerhorns for quite sometime now and decided I wanted to step it up to a saltwater tank. I recently added a princess anthias who has been doing great until today I changed out a 10,000k bulb to a 50/50 for the obvious viewing reasons and added a clownfish. A couple hours later I noticed my princess has been hiding behind the live rock in a crevice sideways breathing heavy and really doesn’t look good at all. Is this just due to stress and she will return to her happy playful Self soon or is there something I need to do to save her

How’s the oxygen?

Princess anthias are one of the more delicate anthias species of anthias for the home aquarium, so being added early on in stocking is not likely to end well. It is also a species that gets stressed when kept singly.

How long has the tank been setup? What are the parameters? Ammonia/nitrites/nitrates?

What kind of clown fish did you put in? Some can be territorial and aggressive.
