My skimmer isn't working, I open the valve? And the bubbles still won't come to the top of the collection cup!! It keeps spitting out micro bubbles!! I've have this for about 1 year that I bought used from another guy. It's on my 29 gallon fowlr. I have 2 clowns, 1 purple fire fish and a green chromis.

Have you had this problem for a whole year, or is it new?
Have you taken the pump apart and cleaned it?
Are you adjusting the air/water ratio? When I have too much water going in my skimmer it blows micro bubbles. Open your air valve wide open?

I got a same protien skimmer to be honest I hate it..... too noise and can't skim well too

I'm using prism yet.. but soon I will go for tunze or reef octopus bh 1000
