Pro con of acrylic

I have been offered a tank setup for an amazing deal however it's acrylic so I want to to get some ideas before I take the deal

Pros... shapes you cant find in glass without spending thousands $$$ like curves.

Cons scratches easy, and distorts view more.

If it is an amazing deal...least a real one likely be in glass or acrylic

To add it's a 240 gallon tank with sump and all equipment included for 350 right now he has it up as a freshwater. That would change very quick

Stand.sump all that? Buy it. Hells I'll buy it where it's at!?

Buy it...just have to be careful what you use to clean it with to prevent lots of scratches. Least if you can afford the upkeep on a 240 no joke on the water, salt, dosing and power needed. (trying to be a reasonable responsible reef budget keeper here)

That's a steal! I got a freebie 110 and pretty much sanded and polished the tank back to new. Took some work but got 90% of the scratches out and has done me right for almost a year. Here's a before (well, during) and after.

Pros it looks great when brand new.

Cons... Everything else. Major con pain to clean.
