Relatively new to the QT game so please bear with me! I want to make sure when I introduce my new arrivals to the DT, they are disease free!

I have a midas blenny and flasher wrasse in QT. I got them on Friday of last week and I've just been observing them for now. No signs of ich, velvet, internal parasites, etc. Both look healthy and are eating a ton. Would it be advisable to proactively treat with copper power and prazi? Or should I hold off and wait to see if either show signs before treating

That is up to you. I prefer to prophylactically treat my fish. Some people observe and only treat if something shows up. The downside is some fish are very good at carrying parasites without visible symptoms. Especially wrasses, gobies, mandarins, etc. So I choose prophylactically treating my fish.

+1 ^ See the article link below to my 4 step quarantine process.

Would I be able to use copper, prazi, and metro/kanaplex/focus all at once? If so, I don't need to do anything like remove carbon, skimmer, etc? just have an airstone for more o2?

Its not advised to mix medications. Technically if in a bind you can use API General Cure which contains praziquantel in conjunction with copper. You just need to ensure you conduct proper water changes between doses and keep your copper at therapeutic levels. You'll need a really good copper test kit to do this such as hanna checker. Then you can feed metro + kana + focus orally while administering GC and copper into the water column.

Hope this helps!

I used to just observe for about 30 days, it worked well back then, no real issues. However, recently (past few years) I've had fish show their infections only once added to my DT. After having to go fishless two different times, I now medicate all fish. It's basically a choice you'll have to make.
