Hello, dear reefers,

I've observed this worm in my DT couple of days ago and since I am a new reefer I've asked my LFS about it and they said it's fine to have them in the tank!
But when I was watching a video about dipping the corals, they mentioned that this kind of worms is one of the things that we get rid of them by dipping the corals before introducing them to our DT.

I need your help because I am confused.
Is this worm a good or a bad thing in my tank?

P.s: The worm looks like this, I am not sure about its name though

Thank you !

They are good. Too many can be an issue but that can be corrected by feeding less. In almost all instances population should be self regulating.

I consider bristle worms to be a vital part of your CUC. They can get to the nooks and crannies that other critters just can't reach.

I see, Thank you! :)
