Probes in return area of sump.

I have traditionally placed my probes in skimmer section where water never fluctuates. Now that I am adding a salinity probe I need to move them to return section or dirty refugium. I want to put them in return but water level will fluctuate a tad here and there especially if I turn the system off. The probes will always be wet, concern is if I turn pump off and they are completely covered by water will it damage them or are they 100% water proof?

Yes, they are 100% waterproof.

Please what ever you do at least put temp prob somewhere water does not fluctuate, best place is the display. All other probs can be wet, dry, or fail and nothing bad will happen. IF YOUR TEMP PROB GOES DRY AND READS TOO COOL YOUR BOIL YOUR TANK.

No worries. I run two temp probes.
