I just bought a controller and am curious were the majority of controller owners run their probes. I want to keep mine in my display tank overflow. My sump is drilled into my basement and the overflow would be the easiest, just seeing if anyone would see a disadvantage to that. My only though is my overflow is one of the only places I never clean? Hooking up a Temp, Orp and PH. Thanks

and i run the same 3 probes but my are in my sump. which i also never clean....

It doesn't really matter where you put them as long as they have flow through the area.

The overflows will be perfect.

Nice how do you like it? I am running profilux right now but for a min there i was thinking about changing.

I made the switch form Profilux to The ReefKeeper Elite, I'm Much happier with the RKE

As far at the probes I have mine in the sump, I wipe them off evey once in a while.

i think the overflow would be fine. i keep my heater in mine, so i wouldnt want my temp probe in there, but i think all your heaters are in your sump if i remember correctly.
