Probiotics added directly to our water?

Can you post the link

Yes, here it is. It is a interesting thread.

I hear what all are saying, but is there tangible anecdotal evidence related to healing damaged coral by using probiotics? That's the holy grail i seek! Lol

I'm glad you brought this up. I've been trying to find info for it forever. I use ridix all the time in fw but haven't heard of anyone doing it in sw.

Probably but dosage would be tricky. I buy and use an enrichment for live food that contain that same probiotics blend, but i don t know the percentage in the finished product

I just went to their web site and didn't see anything stating use of probiotics. Maybe I didn't look well enough.
Attending trade shows, I bought quite a bit as it was they who expressed the importance of and its' inclusion. Their Reef Booster formula contains it for sure

Look up the use of probiotics in aquaculture. I do 1 tablespoon ridix per 75 every 2 weeks. I have no clue how it would go in sw but it works wonders in fresh.

I use probiotics in several saltwater tanks.
They are commonly used in hatcheries.
For raising seahorses, it makes a real difference because it concurrence the bad bacterias.
There is a product called "live rock enhancer"or something like that which is pretty similar from what i use (minus one stain of bacteria)
i was very sceptical, and deceided to try.
I will never come back without. Huuuge reduction of sediments, even if i move all rocks in the tank and stir moderately the sand water stay incredibly clear.
I use INVE Sanolife Mic-F, 2 or 3 times a week, i pour the powder in a high flow area.
I’ve been using mic-f gut loading brine shrimp and mixing with reef roids a few times a week. All corals are looking good and my seahorses and mandarin are doing great. I’m a believer.
