I got some mono potassium phosphate in the mail yesterday. I dosed 1 teaspoon yesterday to my 150. I made a mistake using the calculator so a little overdosed. At that dosage I should be at 8 ppm. I tested after about a half hour with Salifert, no color change. I just tested about 12 hours after dosing and still no color change. I then dosed 1/2 teaspoon into a glass drinking glass with maybe 12 ounces of tank water. I tested that water and still no color change. Am I doing something wrong?

Randy addressed this one recently by pointing out that aragonite adsorbs phosphate. Keep dosing.
