Problem with Bubble Magus Calcium Reactor CR150WP

Hello everybody !!

Anybody out there is using the CR150WP calcium reactor from bubble magus?

I got one, installed it, set it to work, but the problem is that after 5 or 6 hours the recirc pump shuts down...

Has anybody dealt with this before?

i dont own one, but if the pump is shutting off after few hours everytime you have it on then it sounds like heating issues. pump may be getting too hot to run and shuts down to cool off.

I do own one and have not yet suffered from this.
Heat build up could be an issue.
If you could take it apart and give it a good clean, it could be covered in debris

For sure it is a heat issue... But don't know how to solve it...

Set it to work with efluent fully open and no co2 injection and it worked ok for 24 hours, the I restricted the efluent to a fast drop, it continues to recirculate ok, then I opened the co2 injection at 40 bubbles per minute, 3 hours later pump shut down due to heat....

What bubble rate do you have yours set at?
