Problem with Lamarck Angel's eye

I everyone. Bought this fish last week. It's in QT since then. I noticed yesterday that the eye was bulging and thought it was popeye... I poured coper power in the tank. Today it seems worse. Pretty obvious the eye won't heal. Is the fish doomed? If he stays with one eye, it's fine by me. But do you think it will stay like this?

Otherwise, the fish seems fine and eats.

Classic case of popeye and may be either scratch/injury or infection.
Treat in quarantine setting for at least 5 days with maracyn AKA maracyn 1 which is ethromyacin and should clear this up. Seachem kanaplex is another medication that will address this.
Do you have micro-bubbles present in your tank ?
