Have had this male CHT for about 6 months which came from a known tank where he resided for a few years. He was eating off our hands, was always first to eat and ate well and did normal CHT stuff.

Lately he doesn't eat, has lost all coloring and spends most of the time jammed between rocks in his favorite place. When he swims about he's not hassled by any other fish and swims around the tank freely. He does swin in a very lackadaisical manner, in other words, he'll swim around in all sorts of weird ways. He swims straight, sideways or in whichever way the current takes him though does not have a swim bladder issue.

He's in a 10 foot long 560 gallon fish only tank withi all parameters where they need to be. Any ideas, help on getting him back to "normal" would be greatly appreciated.

When your CHT did eat was he maintaining proper weight? I only ask because I have had incidents with triggers where they were voracious eaters but the food didn’t seem to be going to them. In short they had worms. The internal worms were feasting on the food and leaving the trigger fish nutrient deprived which resulted in the conditions you’re describing. Use prazipro to return this CHT back to health.

He looks the same, doesn't look malnourished, so far. I'll put in HT and try that. Thanks!
