I just got this Royal gramma today and stuck him in my 60 gallon community tank I was wondering if it was normal for him to be chillin in the rock work like in the picture

Mine has always liked to find a rocky shelter to call home base

They can hide for days. He thinks he is hiding. He will be comfortable soon and come out.

I tried to feed him some herbivore frozen food and he won’t eat it

Just let him acclimate. It may take a few days.

it took mine about 3 or 4 days. now it's out a lot...unless someone new comes to see the tank. then everyone hides! lol
