14 gallon biocube with Sump. TWV 17 gallons
Cal-420
Alk-9dkh
Magnesium-1320
SPS dominated Reef.
All my frags are growing and coloring up, they're actually growing fast enough for me to really notice them encrusting new areas every few days.
My problem here is, I have NOT dosed Magnesium in 5-6 days and it's steady at 1320. I am dosing calcium and buffer to keep steady.

You may say, Chris, why are you concerned with these seemingly ideal parameters after battling them in such a small system? To that I say, I'm interested in learning, I figured with depletion of calcium also comes depletion of magnesium? No? With this information I realize I must not fully understand Cal-Alk-Mag. So I just don't understand why I don't seem to be depleting magnesium, everything is thriving in my tank. Thanks for your help!

Magnesium depletion is very slow. You'll never notice a drop in 5 days. It is, at most, about 1/10th the calcium drop and can be much less.
