Problems with Tunze Osmolator 3155 ATO

In order to stop this from happening, make sure the hose outlet is always above the water level in the ATO reservoir.

Thanks, was thinking the high “hump” in the hose would stop a siphon.

Hump doesn’t matter... the end of the hose relative to the level in the reservoir does! :)
 
Any ideas on fixing tunze osmolator? The sensor for filling doesn’t seem to detect that it’s dry. I wiped it with vinegar the other day and it seemed to fix it but return pump sucking air again today. Tried wiping again and it just did a couple short bursts of water then stopped. Also looks like the sensor is hardwired in the controller box so not sure if replaceable? The pump does run when I unplug and plug back the power like it’s supposed to. So I think the pump is good?
