Problems With Uncured LR Cycling

yep, went through 3 rounds of intense scrubbing, picking off dead sponges and macro algae. Also used an air compressor to air hose the rocks with which helped quite a bit. gloves and goggles used

Figured you probably did but just wanted to make sure because it's kind of surprising -- and a bit baffling -- to see that much ammonia off over-nighted aquacultured rock from them. As others have posted, you may just have to do a lot of water changing and give it time.
 
I believe that in two of the rocks there is a wide spread network of sponge deep within the rock that i can smell but not see. I think i just got a little unlucky with a few rocks that are perfectly clean on the outside but still smell from their interior. Luckily the smell is reducing in magnitude as days go by. Still love the rocks I received nevertheless, its been worth it
