Problems with Zetlight A200 resetting time.

So I am having a strange issue with my zetlight A200. Everytime I attempt to set the time it defaults back to 2100/01/01 00:00 I have reset it, set it to both auto time and set time, redone the initial setup 10 times. I have found no help online, and anytime i restart the app on the phone it resets the time.

I have an iPhone SE and have also reinstalled the ap.

Has anyone else had this issue or did my A200 decide to break on me.

I run the ZT6500A QMaven, but that goes through my Apex controller. I think they’re great lights, so hopefully you can get yours going. (:

Anyway, I see there is a save feature at the bottom of the app. Are you selecting this after changing the time? Might sound obvious, but I’ve failed to do that a few times and wondered what was up.

Also, is the app you’re using made by zetlight? Could be that the light isn’t connecting if it’s a third party app.
 
Ive used the save button when I can. This Horizon Aqua is what my LFS recommended and runs all their lights on. This was working for me for a good 2 months and all of a sudden just broke after I reorganized the wires under my tank. How they get tangled when just sitting there I will never know.

Huh. Very odd.
I’m just lazy and haven’t organized my cords yet haha. Maybe try disconnecting the light from the app completely and reintroducing it?

Is there any sort of indicator light on the fixture to show that it’s connected to the app?
 
The light is connected, I can control all the functions of the light. Just not the time. it will now save the time and reverts to 2100/01/01 00:00.

I have done everything including adding a second light to it ( i have 3 for my 125 gallon but need to build the wall before i can set that up) and it still does the same.
 
Sorry I can’t be of more help. Hopefully someone else on here can figure this out / will know what going on. I’m totally stumped.

Maybe try calling the manufacturer?

Did you ever figure out the problem? I’m having similar issue.
