Hi!
So, after being "cyano-free" for a few months the thing just started to take over my tank again this week.
I've been battling for months with nutrient imbalance (NO3 in 20's and PO4 in 0) and this past few weeks my NO3 went down to approx 3ppm (without doing water changes or anything at all), my pods number grew dramatically, a brown algae disappeared, green algae started to appear on the glass, Kh went up to 11.3dKh and cyano came back.
Another interesting thing is that I've been dosing "flourish phosphorus" from seachem and my PO4 test still shows 0 so something is eating it up, maybe the cyano?
My idea is to add prodibio to outcompete the cyano and then bring my nutrient levels back up, what do you think?
Nitrate: approx 3ppm
Kh: 11.3 dKh
Phosphate: 0ppm
Green Star Polyp
Pulsing Xenia
3 turbos
very small of chaeto in the sump
Thanks!
