Prodigy overflow

Ok....after a long period of not messing with my tank build, been working on the sump and got the tank drilled. I bought a prodigy overflow a while back. Got it assemble. However the weir plate on it falls out easily. Does anyone that bought/used the prodigy. Overflow experienced the same thing? How did y'all fix it? Am I going to have to glue it into place?

I contacted them and they fixed it I think

Same thing was happening to me but once there was water in the tank all was good. I actually have to use some for to pull it off
