I set up my p4 and once I was able to get connected up to it and get a bit through it, the powerbar kept cycling off and on until I unplugged my heater, which the heater and being able to turn that off was really one of the reasons I even got a controller. Also if the profilux shouldn't be plugged into the powerbar that should be made clear as it cycled off and on with the p4 plugged into it as well. Anyone else run into this or am I just tired and doing this all wrong??

Have you assign your powerbar to the P4 (this example is a P3.1 but it is the same)?

And after this numbering the switches

The red pen show the first number of the power bar. This is a 6 channel powerbar and channel 6 is the heater. The black pen show initial status of the powerbar - it means if a switch is on or off if you plug in the powerbar without a computer or if the computer fail.

Now you have to knit the channels to a function

This is the basic configuration - now you have to configure the temp probe too - if you have problems with this - please come back.

If you have done all of this - and it still not work - comeback with your configurations

Yes, I assigned the pab and checked all 6 boxes to remain on if disconnect. I have not assigned heater in plug 6 or any of that nor added probes. I will do so today and update here if I get it right, thank you @Lasse!!

NOTE - do not check the switch their you knit your heater to be on when you lost contact. If you do it - the heater will still be on if you lose the contact to the P4

The second i plug the p4 into the powerbar it shuts off...the entire pab powerbar shuts off completely i mean...a bit lost here

Yes it should do that if you not have configure the switches

Go to this

We shall now configure S1 to always be on when P4 is the master. You can configure it to answer on illumination channels, timers or what ever but as an example her - always on

Go to the arrow push it. You will have a list to the right - chose the function you want - as an example here - always on.

And save

I understand that you maybe not know how it works - here is 3 links to download

Connect your P4 to another wall outlet - not to the powerbar and test again. It should be a seamless transition between the stage without P4 and with P4 - but just test.

Can you show the functions for S1 and S2?

Aaahhhhh i was counting the outlets 1-6 although the powerbar is mounted vertically and was identifying them in reverse...I feel stupid, I figured it was operator error and I lived up to it lol. Thank you again. @Lasse for the help, you were hitting the nail on the head had I not gone dyslexic on it

It is better to realize that you are an idiot compared to having an insoluble problem

Glad to help
