ProfiLux II Users - Are you going to upgrade?

What are your opinions on the upgrade kit being offered in the next couple of months. You must pre-order the kit by the end of the month in order to save some $.

Have you already reserved, or are you on the fence about the whole thing?

As I stated above, I'm just looking for some opinions on realistically what the new features will bring.

I'm still confused as far as what I'll be gaining with the upgrade. Only five more days to save some $$$. Any clarifications would be much appreciated!

i ordered the P3 upgrade, from what i understand you will getting a new display, the ability to control unlimited amount of probes, sockets what have you, the usb will be standard as part of the P3. there is a list from GHL of the improvements

It does seem like its just an avenue to sell a lot of new accessories.

I upgraded..... To a RKE :bigsmile:

I Honestly did the RKE fit my needs better.


The III upgrade looks like you change all the
guts and only keep the Power Supply and case.

Mabie you could stick the old guts in a
new case and keep it around for a spare?


I would view it as getting a New controller, does it have real
features you need? or just ones that might be cool to have?

Then use that to see it it is worth it to upgrade.


A controller is just a tool to help us keep our tanks
the real joy (at least for me) is the life in the tank.

As long as the controller works I don't even look at it.

I had 3+ months go by with out touching my controller except to
press the remote feed button, or standby to clean the skimmer.
