I'm trying to program an outlet to periodically mix my wc water barrel. Like 5 min every 2 hours or so. I'm not very savy with this so any help is appreciated.

I had my 400 setup to mix for 2 minutes every hour on the half hour. Water change would then commence every hour on the hour. I did this so the water change and mixing wouldn't coincide and cause bubbles to get sucked into peristaltic pump.

Thanks however. I'm just trying to get a simple way to circulate my mixing tank without any auto changes yet

Oh I see, so your changes are done via a separate outlet and program then?

Yes. You can also put safeties in. My mixing tank has a low switch which keeps the mixing pump and water change pump from coming on if it's triggered. That's a tad more complex. ;)

Use this and add more times

Forgive me but I am new to code.
How with that program is it on for two minutes?

If I run this program I would have to set the switch to auto to utilize it correct?
I'm just making sure that turning the switch to off will keep my pump from turning on when barrel is empty.
Sorry for all the ?'s and thanks for your help

Yes, it would have to be set to AUTO for it to run the program. You could put a float switch in there to do the same thing and it's safer than remembering to turn something off.

Thanks, will do. I guess I will finally have to unpackage my break out box I've had for a year LOL

Off topic I know. But I am going around in little tiny circles with the Apex salinity probe. Do you have any experience with that in the past ?

The probe says one thing , refractometer says something else, etc. Any scraps of info would be much appreciated.

Thanks

I'm not the expert but if I'm not mistaken all apex probes need to be calibrated I may be wrong but probably by using pinpiont solution to calibrate refractometer the calbrating probe to match . Again I'm probably not the one to ask

On the other hand you just may be a genius.

If I understand you correctly use the same calibration fluid on both ?
