Ok i have had radion xr15 fpr quite sometimes and i got mine program for Reefbuilder website, and what i’m curious about is what the overall brightness should be, i got it over Nuvo 20 woth RMS arm mount to the back of the tank. Right now these is what i got, should turn it all the way up or what ???

The Nuvo 20 is only 13 inches tall, right? I think you'll fry everything if you turn it all the way up. I run XR15s over a tank that is 18 inches deep and I run them at about 25% max. What do you have in the tank, and what kind of PAR are you shooting for?

I don’t have any specific par and what i have are mix reef. I still try to test around my light since i don’t have any par meter to measure them. So what you say it mean i should lower my overall brightness ??? I still can’t get it while i set overall brightness to 50% and down there it say 33%

I have a cheap LUX meter app for my iPhone, I think it's called "Galactica". At the water surface directly below the light I am getting about 15000 LUX which is roughly 300 PAR, which works for my mix of corals (divide LUX by 50 to get PAR, probably close enough for estimating purposes for most LEDs).

No, I just mean that at 100% you are almost guaranteed to fry them. Do some research on the types of corals you have to get an idea of what kind of PAR they usually like, and then use a meter to figure out what intensity to set on the lights to get that level of light. If you discover you need to make a big change to get to desired levels (more than a few percent), you probably will want to not do it all at once and instead only change it a little at a time.

Sorry, I can't help you with that, I do not use that app to set my light levels (I set them in my Apex).

Thanks for the tips i will try to measure it tonight once i got home, always been curious about that par meter but not will to spend that much just for something i gonna use one in a while
