*Backstory*
I was planning a different build, "Nothing but drop" when I received a free 55 gallon tank, then my buddy's wife found a free 125 gallon tank...

*Project*
"Baja California"
125 gallon DT - Peninsula oriented
55 gallon sump underneath

-Stand
About 500 lbs on it before my buddy and I (240*2) hopped on top aND tried to flex it... all good.

Here it is with one, unfortunate, coat of white paint on it.

*I know it was hot and humid, but Krylon Maxx was a huge disappointment.

My current build is a 125 DT with a 55 sump just not peninsula style. Have fun with it! You're off to a good start.

Also... Is the footprint of that stand the same dimensions as the footprint of the tank? If so looks more like a 180.

The length is about a 1/2" longer and the width about an inch wider; perhaps because it's coming at the camera? I honestly don't remember if I checked the dimensions. It was a free tank, so I grabbed it lol

Okay just checked the dimensions and it should be a 160! We also made the base much wider because we were worried about a leaning tower of Pisa effect, so it's a ridiculous 27 inches wide for a 18.5 Inch wide tank

AndyOneTwentyFive - I checked the exterior dimensions of the stand.
Length: 73"
Width: 27"
Height: 40"
I am installing an RO/DI unit within it now that I see how much room is in it.

Did I mention my house caught fire?

The updates will come more regularly after I get back from Miami, but I have decided to switch all my tanks over to custom steel stands.

Here's my 46 Bow w/o the sump. The carpet sliders from Lowe's are awesome! With good measuring I moved this onto the new stand by myself.

Small modification, I put a Synergy Reef overflow in the middle of a long side...

I had extra width, but not length on the stand, so I can route plumbing inside the frame.

Pic tomorrow

Ok, I am moving slow on this, but I don't want to have to redo anything either.

*it's "backwards" because the overflow didn't come before my patience ran out and I am likely moving in 6 months, so it will be torn down then anyway; also why there's only 60 lbs of rock
