Project Barracuda has started!! 93g cube!!

Hey everyone!! I've had the courage to start my new build. I had a 90g on a built in stand but had to redo the floors and move tank temporarily to get it going. I'm posting pics from beginning to end...
Here are some pics of the original 90 I had to tear down... 20g sump , wp40 power head, diy led fixture I made the which works great!!! 70ish #s of live rock. Then some pics of the break down of tank , the stand and floor remodel....

Just finished the molding after this pic. I've purchased a 93g marineland cube with corner overflow, eshopps sump, eheim return pump and a small 10g which will be my new frag tank in the stand once built. I will be using my wp40 from old tank and the misc stuff like heater and skimmer. I have a local carpenter building me a 32"x32" x 36"high stand of maple with 3 doors . this is gonna be fun . My dog Arty agrees.... He barked 3 times which means "yayyyyyyy"

I meet up with my carpenter Thursday. I should have the stand done in 2 weeks. Its gonna be all hardwood (maple). Dark walnut stain.... I pick up my BRS dosers next week. Get ready!!

Plans are rolling! Ordered my BRS dosers & Reef Keeper with SL1 & probes today. Pics will come soon. I'm headed to Puerto Rico for my wedding in 3 weeks so soon as I'm back I should have a bunch of stuff ready for pics including my custom stand....

I'm a zoa,lepto & monti fan but this build will be a mix. I've heard its tougher to get lps & sps together but I will give it a shot. I have a 6inch regal tang, Midas blenny , purple tang and few clowns that I'm debating on putting in the cube.

Okay guys..... I'm back from my wedding and honeymoon. The Carpenter I hired to build my stand has been nothing but a headache! I gave him cash for materials in early September and he hasn't started yet!!. He has also called and text me saying he needs way more than the original quote to finish the stand. .. so ill be building it myself. I pick up the wood I paid for this weekend.. .. I'll post pics of this process of my diy stand.

Got everything cut, screwed and put together. .. finished up with some caulk. I'm painting the stand in the morning with 2 coats of killz and a gloss paint for finish.. This only took about 8 hours to build . Split up in 2 days of free time..
